Mishpato Yiten LaOr, criticism of Ephraim Deinard's bibliography of manuscripts and printed books in the Sulzberger collection in Philadelphia, by Pinchas Ben Amitai (a pen name of Nehemiah Samuel Libowitz). New York: A. Rosenberg, 1897.
Limited edition of 200 copies, not for sale. The present copy belonged to the author, the scholar Nehemiah Samuel Libowitz (1862-1939). His illustrated bookplate appears inside the front board.
Short, sharp work attacking Ephraim Deinard's bibliographical work Or Meir, published earlier in 1896, a catalogue of the collection of Judge Mayer Sulzberger of Philadelphia. In this work, Libowitz accuses Deinard of inaccuracies, unprofessionalism, intentional falsifications and more (one charge is that he assigns enormous prices to works he hated, hoping that they remain unsold).
